Louis F. Petersen, age 70, of New London, Wisconsin, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at The Heritage in Appleton Wisconsin.

 

He was born February 7, 1947 in Aurora, the son of Clarence and Cecelia (Arseneau) Petersen.

 

Louis served his country in the United States Air Force and worked as a jet plane mechanic for FedEx.  He loved to travel and was fortunate to have traveled all over the world.  He was a beloved brother and uncle and will be dearly missed.

 

He is survived by sister Mary Joynt of Sycamore; nephews Ronald (Janeen) Joynt of Kingston, Dennis (Lori) Joynt of St. Charles, Kenneth (Margie) Joynt of Sycamore; grand nephews Talon and Trevor; and many other relatives.  He leaves behind a host of dear friends in Wisconsin.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother William; and brother in law Michael Joynt.

 

Visitation will be held Friday, September 29, 2017 from 12:00 – 1:30 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, Geneva. 

 

Burial will follow at North Cemetery in St. Charles.

 

A celebration of life service will be held October 8, 2017 in Wisconsin.
