I was so very shocked and saddened to hear of her passing. We had lunch about 9 months ago - talking about finding a job. My emails and calls went unanswered after that; I thought she maybe had moved from the area.
I will miss her very much. She was a good friend, a fellow cat lover and a truly wonderful person. She helped me teach paramedic class and the students just loved her. We shared many a story about our 'babies' (kitties). God bless her soul and may He be with her family as your grieve.

Nancy and I have many wonderful memories of Irv. Not only will she be remembered for her incredible kindness and beautiful spirit but she also served as my mentor with emergency management planning, policies and procedures and drill planning. We also had many great conversations during shared drives to quarterly trauma meetings and shared many laughs along the way. Although we will miss her very much, we know she is in God's hands and taking care of God's creatures big and small.
