Allan David Kruse

Allan Kruse, age 75, of Sugar Grove, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018 at home. 

He was born April 21, 1942 in Chicago, the son of Raymond and Bessie (Korinek) Kruse. 

It is good to mourn the loss of those we love. But don’t mourn for me. For the hope of my life has now been realized, to be resurrected with Jesus my Savior and to live forever in the presence of God. My pain is gone and I have been completely made new.

I will miss Joyce, who has been the love of my life for 52 wonderful years. I will miss my sons and daughters, John, Erin, Ted and Lindsay. I could not be more proud of them. Their spouses Jon, Jayson, Jamie and Alissa, were uniquely special to me. My grandkids were my joy, Lauren, Luke, Noah, Amanda, Jacob, Ryan, Reagan, Adelyn, Avery and Jackson. My whole family, the absolute blessing of my life. I am survived by my sisters, Gloria and Janice, whom I adored.

Mourn, but also rejoice! For he who is in Christ Jesus is a new creation.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at Chapel Street Church, South Campus, 2300 South Street, Geneva with Pastor Jayson York and Pastor Brian Smith officiating.

Burial will follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Sugar Grove.

Visitation will be held Friday, January 12 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
