Adella M. Granquist-McKinney

Adella M. Granquist, age 86, of Geneva passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at Sharps Memorial Hospital, San Diego, California where she lived with her daughter. 

She was born November 27, 1926 in Tiona, PA, the daughter of Floyd and Marion (Whitton) Anderson.

Adella worked for 18 years as the head teller for First National Bank in Geneva. She found joy in spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all those whose lives she touched.

She is survived by her daughter Carol (Bob) Cooley of California and son Ronald (Carol Lynn) McKinney of Rockford; grandchildren Tamera Lynn (Chris) Megison, Cindy Jean (Brandon) Wolfrath and Ryan McKinney; great grandchildren Joshua, Daniel, Courtney, Shaun, Shane; great great grandchildren Addisyn, Tayden and Adella Mae; brother Warren (Margie) Westlake; and sisters Alice Westlake and Mae Belle Scott; nephew Wally Westlake and many other dear relatives and friends.

Adella was preceded in death by her loving husband Herbert who passed in 2006, parents, brother Alfred Anderson, sister Mary Westlake and first husband Donald McKinney who died in 1979.

A funeral memorial service will be held Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 East State Street (Route 38), Geneva, Reverend William Obalil, officiant.

Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, St Charles.

Visitation will be held April 20 from 9:00 until the time of the service at the Funeral Home.
