William Herman

William G. Herman II, age 79, of Elgin, formerly of West Chicago, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at Avondale Estates of Elgin.

He was born February 12, 1941 in Chicago, the son of William and Genevive Herman.

William was an engineer for the Chicago Public Schools for many years.  He was a loving dad and grandpa, who will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his daughter Julie (Mario) Cannistra of West Chicago; and many other dear relatives and friends.

William was proceeded in death by his parents and son William G. Herman III.

A Funeral Mass for William will be held Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva, Illinois 60134 with Father Jonathan Bakkelund, Celebrant.  Due to current health care restrictions involving Covid-19 and social distancing, standards of occupancy will be upheld. To attend please be prepared to wear a mask and/or wait if occupancy standards need to be met before entering.

Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleum in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
