Wayne E. Meyers

Wayne Edward Meyers, age 85, of Elgin, passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at his residence. 

He was born April 6, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Edward and Jane Meyers

He is survived by his loving wife Betsy (Elizabeth) of 32 years; daughter Cory (Jeremiah) Enright of Willow Springs and grandchildren Daniel (Johanna), David (Karly), and Jeremiah (Haley); daughter Beth (Michael) Malinski of Downers Grove and grandchildren Jared, Joshua (Justina) and Aaron (Breanna); daughter Allison Ondracek of Downers Grove and grandchildren Stephen (Caroline), Paul (Shari), Ruth (Francesco), and Rebekah (PJ); son Jon Frykman and grandchildren Leonaird Frykman, Cody (Savanah) Harper, Rory Harper; 20 great grandchildren: siblings Paddy Jo Greene of Las Vegas, Jane Barganski of Elmwood Park, Sue Reinhardt of Chicago, Michella Failla of Chicago, Michael Langridge of Chicago, Mark Langridge of Chicago, and Steve Langridge of Chicago.

Wayne was proceeded in death by parents, sisters Beverly Funk, Donna Potts, Lynn Meyers, Nancy Nuccio; Son in Law Mark Onderack; daughter Julie Harper.

A visitation for Wayne will be held at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm.

Funeral Service will be held for Wayne at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, Geneva on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 11:00am.
