Vincent A. Badali

Vincent A. “Jimmy” Badali, age 94, of St. Charles, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 in St. Charles.

He was born October 31, 1925 in Chicago, the son of Vincent and Mary (Palumbo) Badali.

Jimmy proudly served his country in the United States Marines during World War II on Guam and Iwo Jima.  He was a photo lab man at the Chicago Tribune for 35 years.  Jimmy enjoyed shopping, dining out, and traveling.  His favorite pastime however was spending time with his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed.

Vincent is survived by his only child Vincent (Son) of St. Charles; grandchildren Danielle (Ryan) Antonick of Wisconsin, John (Hannah) Badali of Utah; great grandchildren Talia, Avea, Vince Badali, and Adrian Antonick; Sisters Lucille Badali and Rosemary Little both of Florida; dear friend Marge Frascona; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 53 years Vicki who passed away in 2004; and Sister Ignatia Pusateri-Capone.

Funeral Prayers for Vincent will be held at 9:30 am on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Rt 38) proceeding St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Rd, St Charles, IL, for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am with Msgr. Dan Deutsch, Celebrant.

Interment will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery in Des Plaines.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 27, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. at the Malone Funeral Home 324 E. State St. (Rt. 38) Geneva with a liturgical wake service at 7:45pm.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Bellarmine Hall Jesuit Retreat House, 420 W County Line Rd, Barrington, IL 60010, would be appreciated.
