Thomas (Tom) Noble, age 75, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Bria of Geneva, with his loving family by his side.
He was born August 6, 1948, in Chicago, the son of Walter and Betty (nee Neven) Noble.
Tom grew up on the south side of Chicago and as a teen he was involved in football, hockey and baseball and was an avid collector of baseball cards. He worked his entire career as an Environmental Specialist. Tom loved playing with dogs and talking with children. He was very active in his community, especially at Geneva Lutheran Church.
Tom is survived by his wife of 25 years Barbara (nee Klosterman) Noble; children Jeannine (Patrick) Noble Staunton of Chicago and Michelle Noble of Bloomington-Normal; step-children Renee Riani of Geneva, Kirsten Row of Ann Arbor, and Mitzi (David) Pearson-Kurowski of Geneva; grandchildren Ryan and Meghan Staunton; step-grandchildren Anaka (Jamie Schaeffer, Jr.) Riani, Rebecca Riani, Sammy Kay, Zachary Kurowski, and Spencer Pearson; and sister Ruth Ann La-Mont and brother James (Laura) Noble; nephews Todd La-Mont, Troy La-Mont, Travis La-Mont, and Jason Noble; niece Jessica Noble; and many other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife Sharon (nee Irving) Noble.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 4pm to 8pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
The funeral service for Tom will be held Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 11am at Geneva Lutheran Church, 301 S. 3rd Street, Geneva, with Pastor Trudy Stoffel officiating. A brief visitation will precede the funeral at 10am in the church chapel.
