Stephen J. Collins, 69, recently of Stoughton, Wisconsin and previously of Geneva, Illinois, passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison, WI. Steve was born in Augusta, GA and was the son of the late John and Mary (Clark) Collins.
Steve was a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School, Lansdale, PA and Widener University, Chester, PA. His passions were his family and golf. He enjoyed playing with his many friends at Village Links and Eagle Brook. He also was dedicated to his friends at the Monday Night Group.
He is survived by his wife Anne (Loichinger) and daughter, Joanna Collins. He is also survived by sisters Marybeth DiVincenzo (Gary) of Brigantine, NJ and Sheilah Collins (Mary Zimmerman) of Pylesville, MD, brother Paul Collins (Joanna) of Doylestown, PA, sisters-in-law Lynn Loichinger of St. Charles, IL, Carol Loichinger of Fishers, IN, Beth Thieme (Al) of Saginaw, MI, brothers-in-law Mark Loichinger (Sharon) of Plainwell, MI, and Gregg Loichinger (Nancy) of Allen Park, MI, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva, IL.
