Sandra Marie McMillan

Sandra Marie McMillan, age 75, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Banner Boswell Medical Center in Sun City, Arizona.

She was born December 3, 1944, in Cicero, Illinois, the daughter of Chester and Evelyn Stortz.

Sandra attended Loyola University and worked in the legal field for many years. Sandra loved traveling, especially to Mexico. She enjoyed Latin music and loved to dance.  She performed ballet as a child and developed a passion for belly dancing later in life. Sandra loved baking and brought wonderful desserts to family celebrations, her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and friends. 

She is survived by her cousins Margaret (Paul) Bielik of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Phyllis (Mike) Heaney of The Villages, Florida, Mary (Steve) Auchstetter of Hospers, Iowa, Kathy (Tom) Bullermann of Lannon, Wisconsin, and Larry Twerion of East Troy, Wisconsin; and many other dear relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation for Sandra will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 from 9:30 am to 10:30 am at the Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, Geneva, proceeding to her Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva.

Burial will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Geneva, Illinois. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to American Heart Association, 300 S. Riverside Plaza, Chicago, Illinois 60606 and St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva, Illinois 60134.
