Rosalyn J. “Ro” Heller, age 88, of Geneva, Illinois, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, peacefully in her sleep at the Pearl of St. Charles.
She was born December 2, 1935, at the Norwegian-American Hospital in Chicago, the daughter of James and Rose (Fontaine) Clevenger.
Ro loved gardening, fishing, and baking cookies for friends and family. She was also an avid Chicago Bulls fan.
She is survived by children Cheryl (Gary) Schneider of Geneva, Tom (Amy) Heller of West Chicago, and Dave (Tammy) Heller of Colorado Springs; grandchildren Shannon Colt, Erica, Daniel, and Joshua Heller, Ava Roman, Alyssa (David) Maturino, Jordan Marron, and Cory Schneider; great grandchildren Liam and Evan Colt and Rosie Maturino; brother Donald (Shari) Clevenger; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Rosalyn was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Jim and Ray, and her loving husband Richard who passed away in 1989.
A visitation for Ro will be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 3:00 pm until the time of her funeral service at 5:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
Burial will be held at a later date at St. Michael Cemetery in Wheaton.
