Rosalinda Bowker, age 81, of Batavia, formerly of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at her home with her loving family by her side.
She was born April 25, 1944, in Beeville, Texas, the daughter of Ernesto and Rosario (Murray) Ramirez.
Rosalinda was reunited at last with her beloved husband Bernie of 54 years. True to her name, she was a lover of roses and a woman with a vibrant personality who never missed a chance to wear her favorite jewelry.
The life of every party, she filled the room with jokes, and infectious laughter. A proud Texan and history buff, she was a master in the kitchen and a friend to any stranger, always ready to help someone in need.
Above all, she adored her grandchildren and her faithful Westie, Daisy. Her warmth, wit, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by the family she cherished so dearly.
She is survived by her daughters Lynette (Dennis) Renner of Cortland and Laurie (Craig) Gatto of Bristol, Wisconsin; grandchildren Bennett Gatto and Hillary (Jordan) Bohn; great grandchildren, Jonah Rice and Aiden Bohn; brother Louis Ramirez (Sheila) of St Charles, and sisters Minerva Koch of St. Charles and Linda Walker (Tim) of Huntsville, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, friends, and family.
Rosalinda was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Ernesto Ramirez, Daniel Ramirez and sister Alicia Ramirez.
Services for Rosalinda will be held at a later date.
