Ronald Alan McKinney Obituary

Ronald Alan McKinney, age 74, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Swedish American Hospital with his loving family by his side.

He was born June 28, 1947, in Chicago, the son of Donald and Adella (Anderson) McKinney.

Ron proudly serviced his country in the United States Navy. He graduated from Elgin Community College semi-Truck Driving School. And was a member of the St. Charles Legion. He had volunteered at several health fairs and birthday parties as Ronnie the Clown.

Ronald is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years Carol (Adams); son Ryan of Rockford, sister Carol (Bob) Cooley of California; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A graveside service for Ronald will be held at a later date at Union Cemetery in St. Charles.
