Ronald Spriet

Ronald Spriet, age 82, of North Aurora, formerly of St. Charles, Batavia and Geneva, passed away Friday, December 25, 2020 at Meadowbrook Manor in Naperville, Illinois.

He was born July 17, 1938, in Geneva, Illinois, the son of Edward and Amanda (Descourouez) Spriet.

Ronald was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs fan, who also enjoyed watching good TV.  However, his greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his children Lisa (Fred) Kleber of The Virgin Islands, Steven of Freeport, Laura (Randy) Hurst of Clare, Michelle (Keith) Gerkin of Geneva, and Daniel (Mary) of Greer, South Carolina; 5 grandchildren; sister Yvonne Malone of St. Charles; and many other dear relatives and friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and son Martin Spriet.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 11:00 am at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia, Illinois with Father Max Lasrado officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society 225 Michigan Ave #1200, Chicago, IL 60601.
