Robert Hugh Neill

Robert H. “Bob” Neill, age 63, of Geneva, passed away Monday, October 8, 2018 at Delnor Hospital with his loving family by his side.

He was born September 23, 1955 in McMinnville, Oregon, the son of Hugh and Myrtle (Elliott) Neill.

Bob was raised in Carlton, Oregon and graduated from Southern Oregon University.  In 1983 he married Traci (Svejkovsky).  Bob was a merchandise retail buyer and he, Traci, and son Christopher traveled all across the country to follow his career with some of the world’s most well know retail companies, his last job was with Sears Department Store.

Bob loved golfing and fishing.  He was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed following the San Francisco 49ers, St. Louis Cardinals, and the Portland Trailblazers. 

Bob was a natural born leader, mentor, and loyal friend.  He had an innate way of making everyone around him feel special.  He had an easy going personality and loved life.  He was a great husband, father, and brother and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Traci; son Christopher; sister Beccie (John) Holland of Oregon; and many other dear relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 28, 2018 at noon at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva with brother-in-law Reverend John Holland, officiating.

There will be a service at a later date in Bob’s hometown of Carlton, Oregon.
