Robert R. "Bob" Kwasniak

Robert R. “Bob” Kwasniak, age 64, of Rockford, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford with his loving family by his side.

He was born May 13, 1957, the son of Eugene and Dorothy (Schillo) Kwasniak.

Robert worked for the railroad for many years.  He was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan.  His greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Joanne (Tarnowski); daughter Marcie (Jordan) Dorrestein of Geneva; siblings Lynda Clements of Palatine, Kathy (Steve) Zimmermann of St. Charles, and Eugene (Susan) Kwasniak of Chicago; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A visitation for Robert will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva, from 9:00 am until the time of his memorial service at 11:00 am. 

Burial will be held privately.
