He was born May 3, 1989, in Downers Grove, the son of Robert and Patricia (Lindstrom) Krohn.
Rob never met an adventure he wasn’t up for. Give him a set of car keys or a passport and he was ready to go. Rob had the uncanny ability to befriend anyone he met with his wit, compassion and charm. He was equally as comfortable to kick his feet up and read as he was to hang out with friends at a party, concert or local festival. You couldn’t be around Rob without being pulled into his circle of friends. His stories always started with “So me and my buddy..”. His nieces and nephew provided endless entertainment for him and he was their biggest cheerleader even from afar. The title of cousin and nephew doesn’t capture the bond he shared with his extended family. A devoted brother and son, Rob never failed to make his parents and sisters laugh, occasionally hold their breath, and help them in any way he could.
Rob is survived by his parents; sisters Maggie (Keith) Goode of North Aurora and Elizabeth (Kevin) Roosa of Maine; nieces and nephew Eleanor and Holland Goode and Liam and Emily Roosa; and loving partner Kasey O’Meara.
Rob is preceded in death by his grandparents Herbert and Mary Krohn and Martin and Kay Lindstrom.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to NEDSRA in support of the Rob Krohn Memorial Donations fund. These gifts will provide scholarships for NEDSRA athletes participating in Special Olympics sports. Since Rob was an athlete and always willing to help anyone he could, we felt a scholarship fund would be a meaningful tribute to his life and spirit. Donations may be made at https://www.nedsra.org/donate/donation-form/
