Richard Jurczyk

Richard Jurczyk, age 59, of Geneva, passed away Friday, June 13, 2025.

 He was born July 14, 1965, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of John and Dolores (Horvath) Jurczyk.

Richard grew up in Olympia Fields and attended Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights.  He went to Northwestern University where he earned a degree in Literature.  He always loved to read, and even as a young child he was drawn to the classics.  He then went on to earn his Law degree from Loyola University.

 He is survived by his wife Christine; daughters Emma and Ava Jurczyk; siblings Tom (Helen) Jurczyk of Wisconsin, Mark (Laura) of Wisconsin, Jackie (Mike) Murphy of Wheaton and Kenny (Marybeth) Jurczyk of Libertyville; and many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother David.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva with a liturgical wake service at 7:45 pm.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home.

Burial will be held privately.
