Richard Jaeger II, age 70, of Geneva, passed away Monday, December
21, 2020 at his residence.
He was born August 13, 1950 in Dubuque, Iowa the son of Richard
and Norma (Heim) Jaeger.
Rick was a longtime resident of Geneva and La Grange, IL and served as a
Building Inspector for the City of Geneva. He was educated at Marmion
Military Academy and St. Mary’s College in Winona, MN. Rick was known
for his sense of humor, an exuberant spirit, and his love of the outdoors. He
was an avid fresh and saltwater fisherman and an accomplished fly
fisherman.
Rick is survived by his three children: Ryan (Michael) Bartholome, Ashley
Jaeger, and Richard Jaeger III, and three grandchildren – Hunter, Griffin
and Graham Bartholome.
He leaves his mother, Norma Jaeger, and his siblings, Sue (David)
Mitchell, J. Patrick (Julie) Jaeger, Nan-Marie (Richard Manning) Jaeger,
Beth (Jeffrey Willsey) Jaeger, Paula (Paul) Pikowitz, and David (Theresa)
Jaeger, as well as six nieces and nephews.
Rick is also survived by his close friend Julie Margaret Dillon.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Jaeger, and brother,
Steven Charles Jaeger.
Services for Rick are private.
