Raymond Joseph Lacina

Raymond Joseph Lacina, age 59 of Bartlett, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield with his loving family by his side.

He was born July 12, 1958 in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Beverly (Visus) Lacina.

Ray attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and worked for many years as a senior transportation planner for Life Fitness. Ray loved watching all sports, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. He enjoyed traveling the world and collecting art, as well as gardening. He loved to laugh and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his life partner William Bautista of Bartlett; son Patrick Burke; father Joseph of Geneva; sister Sandy (Don) Fowler of Geneva; nephew Craig Fowler; niece Paige Fowler and many other dear relatives and close friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother Beverly Osting.

Visitation for Ray will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 from 3:00 pm until the time of his memorial service at 7:30 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.

Interment will be held privately.
