Randall Glen Skinner, age 38, of Geneva, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, at home.
He was born December 6, 1985, in St. Charles, Illinois, the son of Lyle Skinner and Ruth Glen.
Randall lived in Geneva for much of his life, and he also resided in Chicago. He graduated from Geneva Community High School in 2004. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, music, and connecting with others. He was known to be quick to smile, witty, loyal, and deeply devoted to his friends.
He is survived by his parents; sister Alexandra Skinner and brother-in-law Michael Bruesch of Chicago; aunts Margo Glen and Sharon (Joseph) Chase; uncles Steven (Lousie Belmont) Skinner, Scott Skinner (Barbara Kennedy) and Joel (Karen) Skinner.
Visitation will be held Friday, September 6, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will follow directly at 7:00 pm with Lindsey Bates at Malone Funeral Home, 324 East State Street (Rt. 38) Geneva, IL 60134.
Burial will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, please consider giving to Deepwater Project. Randall spent summers in his youth in the woods in northern Ontario through Northwaters/Langskib summer camp. Deepwater Project helps give that invaluable experience to youth who might not otherwise have the opportunity. We would be comforted to know that more kids are going to camp and know he would love that too. https://www.deepwaterproject.org/
