Pranvera (Doraci) Mamaj

Pranvera Mamaj, age 72, of Addison, passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at home, with her loving family by her side.

She was born July 29, 1949, in Albania, the daughter of Mehmet and Fatime (Kasemi) Doraci.  

She was born in Gjrokaster and graduated nursing school.  She adored her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She looked forward to going on walks with her husband, and loved music. 

Pranvera is survived by her sons Leonard (Kara) of Lake in the Hills and Ben of Addison; grandchildren Brenner and Bennett; siblings Fred of Athens and Liri of Tirana; and many other dear relatives and friends.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ikbale Doraci, and her devoted husband of 50 years Arshi Mamaj who passed away in 2019.  

A visitation for Pranvera will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 9:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.

Burial to follow at River Hills Memorial Park in Batavia.
