Pauline Noftz, age 91, of St. Charles, formerly of Westchester, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Home Care Advantage 1 Assisted Living in Batavia with her loving family by her side.
She was born August 3, 1931, in Franklin County, Indiana, the daughter of Paul and Jane (Kamman) Nadovic.
Pauline took great pride in being an elementary school teacher in the Chicago Public Schools for 52 years. She loved animals, but her greatest happiness was becoming a grandmother to Daniel. Pauline will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She is survived by her daughter Eileen (David) Garnett of St. Charles; grandson Daniel; brother Skippy Parker of Tennessee; beloved caregivers Vicki Gavina, Maria Pizano, Irina Anderson, Joanna Meliunas, Ivanka, and Ella; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents, sister Barbara, Aunt Mabel Kamman, parents-in-law Leo and Ellen Noftz, and her husband Daniel who passed away in 2014.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 24, 2022 from 9:00 am until the time of her funeral prayers at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva proceeding to St. Peters Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 11:30 am with Father Jonathan Bakkelund celebrant. Interment will be held Tuesday, October 25 at 11:00 am at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
