Patricia Ann "Pat" Hanson

Patricia Ann “Pat” Hanson, age 82, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Northwestern Medicine Delnor Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born January 1, 1940 in Geneva, the daughter of Oscar and Margaret (Streit) Soderdahl.

She is survived by her children Judy (Bryan Farina) Hanson of Naperville and Steve Hanson of Kingston; sister-in-law Joan Soderdahl; brother-in-law Gunnar (Elaine) Hanson; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; devoted husband of 46 years Clifford who passed away in 2007; siblings Genie (Bruno) Seraphin, Aggie Theis, John (Stella) Soderdahl, LeRoy (Susan) Soderdahl, Donald Soderdahl, Kenneth (Shirley) Soderdahl, twin sisters Helen (Glenn) Anderson and Ruth (Ed) Modaff, and twin brothers at birth; sister-in-law, Sonja (Ken) Zilly, brother-in-law Yarl Hanson; niece Audrey Kahl; and nephews John Modaff, Dennis Soderdahl, Scott Soderdahl, David Zilly and Jason Zilly.

Funeral Prayers for Pat will be held Monday, March 7, 2022 at 9:30 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva proceeding to St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am with Rev. Msgr. Daniel Deutsch, Celebrant.

Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Geneva.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 6 from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home.
