Patricia Reisdorf Obituary
Patricia A. “Pat” Reisdorf, age 67, of St. Charles, passed away Friday, June 26, 2020 at Seasons Hospice in Naperville with her loving family by her side.
She was born August 22, 1952, in Grand Forks, North Dakota, the daughter of Robert and Marceille (Hawkins) Reisdorf.
Patricia graduated from Edgewood College and the University of Wisconsin Madison with a degree in education and taught for many years. She was an active toastmaster and member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Patricia was very creative -- she loved arts, song writing, improv, and any other crafts she could get her hands on. However, her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by her siblings Peggy Lange of Minnesota, Robert Reisdorf of Algonquin, Jane Reisdorf of Oklahoma, John (Peggy) Reisdorf of Indiana, and Ann (Vincent) Welter of Geneva; nieces and nephews Ben, Erica, Brandon, Lauren, Matthew, Carrigan, Maggie, Maddie, and Elliot; and many other dear relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law David Lange.
A visitation for Patricia will be held Monday, June 29, 2020 at the Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State (Rt 38), Geneva, from 4:00 pm until the time of liturgical wake service at 7:45 pm with Deacon Greg D’Anna officiating. Due to restrictions surrounding social distancing, standards of occupancy will be upheld. To attend please be prepared to wear a mask and/or wait if occupancy standards need to be met before entering.
Funeral prayers will be held Tuesday, June 30, at 9:30 am at Malone Funeral Home proceeding to St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Rd, Geneva for Celebration of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am with Father Jonathan Bakkelund Celebrant.
Interment will be private at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Geneva.
