Patricia Ann Nelson

Patricia A. Nelson, age 76, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at her residence in Batavia, surrounded by her loving family. 

She was born November 14, 1946, in Geneva, Illinois, the daughter of Glenn and Mary (Perrone) McConnaughay.

Patricia enjoyed traveling, walking and watching the Cubs games with Tim, and spending time with her grandkids. She worked at the County Courthouse as a bailiff for many years. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband; son Kirk (Judy) of Batavia, daughter Lori (Tim) McDonald of Batavia; grandchildren Taylor and Jayden Johnson, and Cole and Luke Nelson; sister LeeAnn (Lee) Molitor of Saint Charles, Illinois; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Glenda Heinkel and her brother Rob McConnaughay.

Services will be held privately.
