Mike L. Ferguson, age 47, of Geneva, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Swedish Hospital in Chicago with his loving family by his side.
He was born December 4, 1973, in Elgin, the son of Jim and Mary (Ziemann) Ferguson.
Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was the well-loved owner-operator of 001 Choice Cab Company in Geneva for 15 years. Mike was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, talented musician who loved to go camping and kayak as often as he could. However, his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed.
Mike is survived by his longtime partner of 25 years Candy Fenske of Geneva; brother James Ferguson of Highpoint, North Carolina; and many other dear cousins, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and his lifelong friend Bob Huffman.
A Memorial Party will be held Saturday, November 13, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm at The American Legion Post 75, 22 S. 2nd Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134.
