Megan Ann Schlaiss

Megan Ann Schlaiss, age 34, of Elburn, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield.

She was born September 11, 1987 in Chicago, the daughter of Daniel and Debra (Huebner) Schlaiss. Megan was a graduate of Wheaton Warrenville South High School and worked as a Compliance Assistant for Logicoll, LLC.

Anyone who knew Megan, knew that she was kind, caring, loving, warm, brilliant, selfless, and wonderful. She was a blessing with an immense passion for her family, especially her children. Throughout her journey, she was always a source of positivity and love that left an imprint on the hearts she touched. Megan’s family and friends will miss her more than words can say.

She is survived by her fiancée Nate Nicholas; children Andrew and Jordan Schlaiss, and Eloise and Quentin Matthew Nicholas; father Daniel Schlaiss (Judie) of Florida; mother Debra Huebner (Michael Cicirello) of Crest Hill; and brother Daniel Schlaiss (Jenni Monaco) of Warrenville; Nate’s family: mother and father Dave and Cyndee Kulevich; brother Alex Nicholas (Abbie); sister Julia Kulevich; nephews Tony and David Nicholas; and many other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother Matthew, grandparents George and Jeanette Huebner and Gerard and Mary Schlaiss.

Visitation for Megan will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street, (Route 38), Geneva from 1:00 pm until the time of her funeral service at 5:00 pm with Pastor Keri Ladouceur officiating.

Interment will be held privately.
