Mary D. (Brodel) Sarsfield

Mary D. Sarsfield, age 91, of Geneva, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Franciscan Court in West Chicago.

She was born October 20, 1933, in Queens, New York, the daughter of Andrew and Mary (Brandt) Brodel.

Mary is survived by her daughters Gail (Jim) Haas of Geneva and Lorraine Sarsfield of North Carolina; grandchildren Krystina and James Haas and Kaitlin (Steven) Wenkel; great grandchildren Reese Haas and Addison Wenkel; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Eugene,  siblings Albert, Frances Keenan, and Ann Clifford.

A visitation for Mary will be held Monday, August 25, 2025 from 9:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.

Burial will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood..

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, Illinois 60601 would be appreciated.
