Maria D. Kamaris

Maria D. Kamaris, age 43, of Geneva, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at her home in Geneva.

She was born August 27, 1975, in Chicago, the daughter of Demetrios and Toni (Weber) Kamaris.

Maria worked as an executive assistant in the manufacturing business for many years.  She enjoyed arts and crafts, jewelry making, and watching tv—especially I Love Lucy and Seinfeld.  Maria was a lover of nature and always enjoyed the company of animals.  She loved spending time with her friends and family and will be dearly missed.  She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt.

She is survived by her daughter Demetra; mother Toni; uncle Brad (Nikki); siblings Emily, Jason, and George (Jessica); and many other dear relatives and friends.   

She was preceded in death by her aunt Avis and father Demetrios.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 9:00 am until the Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.

Interment will follow at Windridge Memorial Park in Cary, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the family to go towards Demetra’s college education or the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals at aspca.org.
