Marcia Conarty, 80, of North Aurora passed from this world on Friday, August 19 surrounded by her loving family. Marcia was born on September 29,1941 in Pontiac, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Norma Hearne, and brother Michael Hearne.
She is survived by her loving husband Paul of 42 years, her children Tricia, Frank (Lynn), Mark (Stasha), her sister Robbie Pinnow and her “grandson” via friendship, Parker.
Marcia was an avid bridge player for over 50 years and made many life-long friendships through the game including her two long-term partners Sherri and Jocelyn. If she could, she would have played bridge every day. Marcia also loved to decorate. She changed the décor in her own home regularly and even had a decorating business in her last few years. Her decorating advice will surely be missed by friends and family. Marcia had a life-long love of Mickey Mouse and in her last few years had a real passion for building Legos. Most of all, Marcia just loved spending time with her friends, family, and pets; from sitting at home admiring her yard & fairy garden, to daily calls with her kids, Sunday family dinners and some amazing vacations that have left her family with wonderful memories.
Marcia suffered from Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), a rare blood cancer. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to MDS-Foundation.org on their website or 4573 S. Broad Street suite 150 Yardville, New Jersey 08620
Services for Marcia will be held privately. The family will hold a celebration of her life at a later date.
