Lucille "Lucy" James

Lucille “Lucy” James, age 80, of St. Charles, passed away Friday, May 1, 2020 at Bria in Geneva.

She was born January 30, 1940 in Aurora, the daughter of Clarence and Viola (Jeffers) King.

Lucy’s greatest pastime was spending time with her family.  She was very proud of her children and loved being a grandma.  She enjoyed quilting and cross stitch.  She always enjoyed laughing and valued friendships; she will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years Donald; children Tom (Kim) of Rochelle, Sue (Ed) Borowiak of St. Charles, and Donna James of Geneva; grandchildren Becky, Jenny, and Ben Borowiak; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters Marie and Betty.

Funeral services for Lucy will be held privately.
