Leonard D. Kraig

Beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Len Kraig was born Aug 30, 1956 and passed away peacefully at home on Nov 27, 2023.

Leonard is survived by his siblings Dave of Geneva, Chris of New York, and Kimberly (Rodney) Borman of Michigan; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Jean Kraig and his dear nephew Vincent Kraig.

Citizen of the world, he loved art, travel, food and design. He also had an affinity for writing, which was a creative outlet for him. Everyone he met was engaged by his charismatic personality.

As a graduate of Loyola University Chicago, his career included executive leadership in risk management consulting, internal audit, external audit, operations and administration with top-tier CPA and Consulting firms as well as in industry (Fortune 50, Healthcare, Banking, Manufacturing, Nonprofit, Logistics and Professional Services).

This is just a glimpse into his multi-faceted colorful life. He lived well.

An Intimate family service will be held December 1st to be followed by a celebration of life in summer 2024
