Lawrence L. Beall Obituary

Lawrence (Larry) L. Beall, age 85, of Geneva, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020.

He was born January 5, 1935, in Durham, North Carolina, the son of Lawrence and Virginia (McLean) Beall.

Lawrence served his country in the United States Navy as a midshipman.  He worked as a mechanical engineer for the Beloit Corporation for many years.  He enjoyed opera and was a frequent visitor of the Lyric Opera of Chicago.  His greatest pastime was spending time with his family and friends, he will be dearly missed.

Lawrence is survived by children Andrea Beall-Rizzo of Park Ridge and Scott (Jennifer) of Geneva; grandchildren Griffen, Grant, and Karl Rizzo and Mary, Evelyn, Sarah, and Lawrence John Beall; sister Valinda Martinez of North Carolina; and many other dear relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Mark Rizzo, and his devoted wife, Annemarie, who passed away in 2014.

Memorial Service for Lawrence will be held Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at St Mark's Church, 320 Franklin Street, Geneva with Rev. Dr. Mark Tusken officiating.  Burial will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mark’s Church, 320 Franklin Street, Geneva, Illinois 60134, would be greatly appreciated.
