Lara B. (Macino) Kristofer

Lara B. Kristofer nee Macino, age 45, of St Charles, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born February 26, 1978, in Melrose Park, the daughter of Michael and Sandra (Bellavia) Macino.

Lara was a teacher at St. Peter Catholic School.  She loved working there. It afforded her the opportunity to be near her children, while living out her faith every day. She loved making lasting, meaningful connections with her students.

She is survived by her husband of 16 years Jon; children Vincenzo, Antonia, Gianmichael, and Charles; sister Madeline (Roger Miller) Macino; parents Michael and Sandra Macino of Michigan; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister Gina Marie.

A visitation for Lara will be held Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 9:00 am until the time of her funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva with Father John McFadden Celebrant.  Please click this link to livestream the masshttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLjt3j6t9PY

Burial will be held privately for immediate family at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Peter Catholic School, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva 60134 would be appreciated.
