Klaus Peter Siessenbuettel, age 91, of St. Charles, passed away Friday, January 24, 2020 at his home in St. Charles surrounded by his loving family.
He was born March 3, 1928 in Germany, the son of Hans and Alma (Kieck) Siessenbuettel.
Klaus proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1954 – 1956. He worked for Sears Roebuck & Company for 32 years. He enjoyed gardening and farming, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his family and he will be dearly missed.
Klaus is survived by his devoted wife of 64 years Margaret (Boesch); children Robert (Veronica) of St. Charles and Karla (Bill) Fry of St. Charles; grandchildren Douglas, Vicky, and Russell (Kate) Fry, Nathan Siessenbuettel, and Elisa and Natalia; great grandchildren Ayden, Deacon, and Easton Fry, and Albert and Paige Tulo,; brother Karl (Kate) of Germany; and many other dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Dedi (Otto) Moeller and Hinrich (Elke); and his son Klaus Peter, Jr.
A visitation for Klaus will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of his memorial service at 11:30 am at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38) Geneva.
Interment will be held privately at Mt. Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst.
