Kathleen Ellen "Kathy" (Tracy) Coglio

Kathleen Ellen “Kathy” Coglio, age 65, of Geneva, passed from this world on Wednesday, August 24, 2022, at Delnor Hospital with her loving family by her side.

She was born on February 11, 1957, in Evergreen Park, Illinois.

Kathy was a loving wife, mother, sister, and aunt who dedicated her life to her family. She loved traveling, spending time with everyone that she loved (which were more than anyone could count), baking, thunderstorms, watching hot air balloons and occasionally loved putting a dollar bill in the slots and seeing what she could make out of it. She had a passion for God, as he blessed her and her family with many miracles. Admirably, her positive attitude towards life provided her great resilience to bounce back from anything life presented. Her smile could light up a room, and her hugs and kisses were magical. She is and will always be sorely missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Garland and Eleanor Tracy and Sister Bonnie McCartney.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Philip; her daughter Lauren; sisters Judith (Larry) Miller, and Susan (Joel) Bahl; and many other dear relatives and friends.

Visitation for Kathy will be held Monday, August 29, 2022, from 4:00 pm until the time of her funeral service with Pastor Darrel Malcom officiating at 7:30 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva.
