Julian Errol Baxter, age 86, of North Aurora, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 at AccentCare Hospice in Naperville surrounded by his loving family.
He was born July 27, 1939, in Streator, the son of James and Bernice (Bridge) Baxter.
Julian, or Errol, known to all, loved to dance and tell a joke. He always had a way with words, often inserting his own phrasing into familiar songs. He was completely adored by his many nieces and nephews, three grandsons and his loving wife and children. He had a love/hate relationship with the game of golf and the Chicago Cubs.
Errol is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years Doris (Dunham); children Christopher of North Aurora, Stacy (Adam) Rivest of Florida, and Devon (Craig) Steshetz of Highland Park; grandchildren Maxwell, Greyson, and Alexander; and many other dear relatives and friends.
Errol was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings.
Per his request, no formal memorial or funeral service is planned.
