Obituary

Julia C. Abbott, age 83, of St. Charles, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 6, 2020.

She was born July 26, 1937, in Chicago, the daughter of James and Virginia Abbott.

Julia was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her daughter Julie Cannistra, son-in-law Mario, and beloved grandchildren Mario and Nicole; and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son William Herman.

Funeral Mass for Julia will be held Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10:30 am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva with Father Charles Warren celebrant.  To attend please be prepared to wear a mask and/or wait if occupancy standards need to be met before entering church.

Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in Evergreen Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 E Main Street, St. Charles, Illinois 60174 would be appreciated.
