Joseph DeMercurio

Joseph DeMercurio, age 87, of Geneva, passed away Monday January 27, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born June 9, 1932 in Detroit, the son of Joseph and Jenny DeMercurio.

Joseph served his country during the Korean Conflict in the United States Army.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Judie (Hill); daughters Jolie (Shamus) Misek of Washington State and Jill (Ralph) Benhart of Virginia; grandchildren Alex and Sean Benhart; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial service for Joseph will be held Saturday, February 1, 2020 at 5:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38) Geneva.

Burial will be held privately.
