Joseph T. DeJure

Joseph T. DeJure, age 64, of St. Charles, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva with his family by his side.

He was born August 17, 1957, in Darby, Pennsylvania, the son of Joseph and M. Corita (Murphy) DeJure. 

Joe had a loud infectious laugh. Everywhere he went the mood was better, because he believed that life was to be lived to its fullest. He was a generous man who treated everybody with dignity and respect. He enjoyed being around people; nobody was a stranger with Joe. He loved traveling, dinners out, dancing with his wife, playing card games, and relaxing in his pool. However, his greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with his family and friends.  He will be dearly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Gloriane (Glori), children Emma (Fiance Jason Henry) of Geneva and Jackson DeJure of Chicago; sister Stacey (Michael) Snyder of Florida, In-laws Gene and Dawn Gaik of St. Charles; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Christopher DeJure.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Friday, October 15, 2021 at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Rt 38), Geneva, Illinois from 11:00 am until the time of his funeral service at 1:00 pm with Pastor Glen Morden officiating. 

Burial is private.
