John J. Connelly

John J. Connelly, age 89, of St. Charles, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Pearl of St. Charles with his loving family by his side.

He was born November 3, 1935, in Chicago, the son of Edward and Loretta (Marley) Connelly.

John was a member of the local 134 of the electrician’s union in Chicago for 53 years.

He is survived by his beloved wife Mary Beth (Carroll); in-laws Mitchell Dudek, Donald Carroll, Jr, Michael (Linda) Carroll, Patricia (Joe) Carroll Duffy, Sally (Steve) Carroll Anton, Walter (Tracy) Carroll, Suzanne (Don) Carroll Grace, Alice Carroll Tracy, and Katy Carroll; and many other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister-in-laws Diane Carroll Dudek and Claire Carroll.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 10:00 am until the time of his funeral mass at 11:00 am at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 5005 Wolf Road, Western Springs.

Burial will follow at Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Hillside.
