Joanne (Verbos) Montana

Joanne Katherine Montana, age 84, of Elmhurst, passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at her home.

She was born May 1, 1941, the daughter of George and Marie (Jilek) Verbos.

She had a deep love for animals, especially horses, dogs, and cats. Her greatest joy came from raising Airedale Terriers, a breed she was especially passionate about. She took immense pride in their care and companionship, and her dedication to them was a reflection of her kind and nurturing spirit.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and many other dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother John, and her husband Joseph.

Services for Joanne will be held privately.
