Jerome M. Wells

Jerome M. Wells, age 86, of Geneva, Illinois, passed away at Delnor Hospital in Geneva on Saturday, June 29, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. 

Jerry was born on October 24, 1937, beloved son of Harry and Bernice Wells. He worked for the Chicago Tribune for the majority of his career. Jerry loved to fish, travel and spend time with loved ones. He will always be remembered for his kind temperament and huge heart. He was an amazing father and husband that will be missed dearly. 

Jerry is survived by his children Mark (Linda) Wells of Plainfield, Illinois and Kim (Rob) Perkins of Geneva, Illinois; siblings Harry (Shirley) Wells of Arizona and Henry (Rosemary) Long of Earlville, Illinois; he also leaves behind many cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews as well as many other dear friends & family. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
