Jason M. Sandquist, age 44, of Geneva, passed away Monday, February 8, 2021 at Delnor Hospital in Geneva.
He was born June 1, 1976 in St. Charles.
Jason loved to read and was one of the biggest Harry Potter fans and collectors ever. He also enjoyed show tunes, Barbara Streisand, and singing like no one was listening. He was a sneaker head, loved horror films, and enjoyed baking and cake decorating. He loved to meet new people and especially enjoyed making people laugh. He can best be remembered by this quote “happiness can be found even in the darkest of times if one only remembers to turn on the light”.
He is survived by his siblings Corey Worley of Geneva, Lindsay (Evan) Sink of St. Charles, Alyson DeFir of Michigan, and Nick Worley of Batavia; nephews Skyler & Sebastian Pratt; and many dear relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother Jerome “Andy” Weisman.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Jason’s honor in March, details to be determined.
