In loving memory of Irwin (Irv) Neville, a devoted husband, father and faithful servant of God, who passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the age of 95.
He was born January 3, 1929, in Chicago, the son of Thomas and Mary (Michalak) Neville.
Irv lived a long and fulfilling life marked by his dedication to his family, his country, and his Catholic faith. He proudly served his country during the Korean war. Irv worked for Ameritech / Illinois Bell for over 35 years.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 72 years Eunice (Crowe); children Michael (Nancy) Neville of Oak Park, Martha Neville of Winfield, Mary Jo (Matt) Kinsinger of West Dundee and Paula (Keith) Maladra of Batavia,; grandchildren Sarah (John) Benoit, Robert (Janelle) Neville, Jack and Joshua Kinsinger, Taylor (Jason) Smoy, and Matthew Maladra; great grandchildren Annie and Quinn Neville. Irwin was preceded in death by his siblings Jerome and Lorraine and his parents.
His legacy of love, faith and service will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him. May he rest in peace with our Lord and Savior.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 4, 2024 from 9:30 am until the time of his Memorial Mass at 10:30 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 2300 Main Street, Batavia with Father Orabutt celebrant.
Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial masses would be appreciated.
