Howard P. Petryniec

Howard P. Petryniec, age 83, of Batavia, passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 20, 1942, in Chicago, the son of Joseph and Henrietta (Fioder) Petryniec. 

Howie married Louise Fina on March 4, 1967. They spent 58 years together raising their two children, spending time with their son-in law, five grandchildren, family, and friends.

Howard is survived by his loving wife of 59 years Louise; children Tina (John) Bleakley of Batavia and Mark of Pingree Grove; grandchildren Kelly, Allison, and Amy Bleakley and Bella and Luca Petryniec; and many more relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his siblings Michael and William Petryniec, Patricia Provanzano and his parents.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Malone Funeral Home, 324 E. State Street (Route 38), Geneva from 4:00 pm-8:00 pm.

Celebration of Life Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am Friday, February 27 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1891 Kaneville Road, Geneva with Celebrant Father Ryan Browning. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaRC2EusXwI

Burial will follow mass at West Batavia Cemetery.
