Halyna "Helen" Martyniuk-Baird

Halyna “Helen” Martyniuk-Baird, age 57, of Hanover Park, passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at Elmhurst Hospital with her loving family at her side.

She was born October 17, 1962, in Russia, the daughter of Andrew Hrochow and Paulina Martyniuk.

Helen and her mom emigrated to the United States in 1969 and were proud to become US citizens in 1982. Helen graduated from Geneva High School where she met and later married the love of her life Ron.  With Ron by her side, Helen loved to travel and spend time with friends.  Helen led a happy and fulfilled life and will be dearly missed.

She is survived by her cousins Anna (Marty) Sakiewicz, Michael (Debbie) Wolowina, Stefan Wolowina, Tanya (Tom) Adams, Cody Adams, Ty Adams, and Nick Tchoryk; and many other dear friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of her funeral service at 1:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home 324 East State Street (Route 38) Geneva, Illinois with Chaplain Chrissy Bartholomew officiating.

Interment will be held privately.
