Glenn C. Wolfson

Glenn C. Wolfson, 70, of Campton Hills, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, June 28, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on September 24, 1955, in Manhattan, New York, Glenn was the beloved son of Lawrence and Iris (Alexander) Wolfson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Linda Wolfson (Moats); his sister Eileen (Louis) Meister; his children, Anna Wolfson, Tracy Dienst, Kyle and Corey Ringa; and his grandchildren, Hailey Dienst, Ethan Ringa, and Makayla Ringa, all of whom brought him immense pride and joy.

Glenn’s passion for learning and excellence began early in life. He attended The Julliard School for a brief time, where he explored his dream of becoming a conductor before discovering his calling in business. He continued his education at Union College in New York and later earned his Master of Business Administration from the prestigious Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Illinois.

Over the course of nearly 40 years, Glenn built an accomplished career marked by leadership, innovation, and integrity. He spent many years consulting for several large corporations before serving as CEO of Drew Estate Cigars for the last 10 years of his career. Through his vision and dedication, he helped grow the company into one of the world’s premier cigar manufacturers. While he was proud of what he accomplished professionally, he treasured the friendships and relationships he built throughout his career most of all.

Outside of work, he enjoyed many of life’s finer pleasures. He appreciated a good cigar, an exceptional glass of wine, and a perfectly made Bloody Mary. He loved discovering great restaurants and traveling the world, with Paris holding a special place in his heart. Glenn was also a lifelong lover of classical music and was known to spontaneously break into song, bringing laughter and smiles to those around him. Whether sharing stories over dinner or offering thoughtful advice he made every moment more memorable.

Those who knew Glenn remember him for his kindness, generosity, intelligence, and unwavering love for his family, friends, and colleagues. He had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued. Whether he was offering advice, sharing a laugh, or simply enjoying time with those around him, Glenn made a lasting impact on everyone he met. His legacy lives on through the family he loved, the friendships he cherished, and the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed. To know him is to love him.

Visitation will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Malone Funeral Home, 324 East State Street (Route 38) in Geneva, IL.

 A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at the Wolfson residence at 40W785 Campton Meadows Drive in Campton Hills, IL.
