Glen A. Moore

Glen A. Moore, age 77, of Geneva, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 with his loving family by his side.

He was born September 19, 1944 in Garnett, Kansas, the son of Chester and Cleone (Merrill) Moore.

Glen received an engineering degree from Northern Illinois University and served four years in the US Navy.  Glen worked for Burgess Norton Mfg. in Geneva, IL for many years where he retired as Engineering Manager in 1999.  His passion for golf came second only to his devotion to his family. 

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Penny (Bowling), children Amber Moore (Brett Molander) of Geneva; Natalie Moore of Geneva; and Gregg (Alicia) Moore of Sycamore; grandchildren Lauren, Maren and Alaine Molander; Olivia, Sophia and Gabriella Julian; Teagan, Tenley, Graham, Maeve, Breccan and Bryce Moore, his mother, Cleone Moore, his sisters, Marjorie Shipley and Sue Ausman, his brothers, Henry Moore and John Moore, and many nieces and nephews.

Glen was preceded in death by his daughter, Monica Moore, his sister Lois Davis, and his father, Chester Moore.

Services will be held privately.
